Description of services
MEV provides the Swedish company with the train drivers needed to carry out all transport from Sweden to Wanne-Eickel on the German stretch from and to Padborg. We continue to carry out the necessary local briefing at the border station including training employees in use of the appropriate vehicles. MEV employees are also responsible for the expansion of traffic routes from Sweden to Maschen and Krefeld which has been carried out since 2010. In addition MEV drivers took over the Padborg-Ehrang stretch for around a year. MEV personnel are also deployed in additional one-off passenger services. Where holiday cover is required MEV employees sometimes carry out tasks in the Swedish company's German office. Further to this, all control centre operations have since 2008 been carried out by MEV's disposition department in Mannheim, for which purpose the dispatchers received special English lessons.
